Bounce and complaint rates held well below industry "good."
Transactional email only works if it lands. Coastar LNC is engineered around three numbers — bounce, complaint, and delivery — and every mechanism on this page exists to keep them inside the thresholds that protect your reputation. We are strict on bad and unsolicited email, because one bad sender degrades deliverability for everyone.

Industry "good" vs. our operating targets.
The table below shows the accepted thresholds for transactional email deliverability, and the targets Coastar LNC operates to.
| Metric | Industry "good" | Industry "acceptable" | Coastar LNC target |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bounce rate | < 0.5% | < 2.0% | ≤ 0.18% |
| Complaint rate | < 0.05% | < 0.10% | ≤ 0.02% |
| Delivery rate | > 99.0% | > 98.0% | ≥ 99.8% |
| SPF / DKIM / DMARC | All three | Two of three | All three required |
Industry thresholds are drawn from published ISP and deliverability guidance. Coastar LNC targets are the internal thresholds at which our platform alerts before any account approaches the industry line.
Six mechanisms, running continuously.
Every number in the table above is the result of these controls. None of them are optional on a Coastar LNC account, and none of them can be bypassed by customer request.
Suppression lists
Permanent bounces, complaints, and manual suppressions are removed from every subsequent send, automatically. There is no path around the suppression list.
AI list hygiene
Every address is scored before it's added to your active list. Risky addresses are held out of sends until you review them.
Real-time reputation monitoring
Bounce, complaint, and volume are tracked continuously. Any account approaching an industry threshold triggers an alert before it crosses it.
Event-driven handling
Bounce and complaint events arrive over our event stream and are processed automatically. Manual review is available but never required.
Authentication by default
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are required on every sending domain. The platform will not send from a domain that fails authentication.
Warm-up by default
New domains and IPs start at controlled low volume and ramp up gradually, driven by bounce, complaint, and delivery rate.
We are strict on bad and unsolicited email.
Our deliverability targets are only possible because we enforce them at the platform level. Accounts that damage them are removed.
Transactional only
Every email must be triggered by an authenticated user action or an internal application event. Marketing, promotional, newsletter, and bulk email are prohibited.
No bad lists
Purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, or unknown-source address lists are prohibited. Recipients must have a direct, existing relationship with the sender.
Strict enforcement
Accounts that ignore suppression, exceed bounce or complaint thresholds, or send prohibited content are suspended. Repeat violations are terminated.
Every number has a source and a timestamp.
Our platform stats are updated from live telemetry, and every panel on this site cites where its number comes from. We publish a quarterly deliverability report — you can subscribe on the homepage.
