Coastar LNC was started by engineers who had spent years maintaining transactional email systems. We'd been on call when a receipt stopped sending, when password resets got swallowed by a spam filter, and when a provider's silent IP change tanked deliverability for three days before anyone noticed.
The pattern was always the same: sending email reliably is hard, monitoring it is harder, and most platforms hide the numbers that would let you know it's failing. We decided to build the opposite: a platform with real-time metrics that cite their source, AI that runs on every send, and a suppression pipeline that can't be bypassed.
Coastar LNC pairs a reliable sending backbone with the intelligence and tooling that transactional senders actually need. Coastar LNC operates as a distributed team with a small number of in-person meeting points. Customers interact with us through email, a shared Slack channel, and scheduled video calls — not through a walk-in office.
